SEALSQ Launch Quantum Vertical Stack During Q3 2026

In this article, we will know that, SEALSQ launch Quantum Highway and Vertical Stack aim to build a sovereign, secure, and scalable quantum infrastructure for the digital future.

SEALSQ Corp, a leader in post-quantum semiconductor and cybersecurity solutions, will introduce its Quantum Vertical Stack during SEALSQ Quantum Day in the third quarter of 2026. This ambitious project marks the first time a business will showcase a completely integrated, end-to-end quantum technology ecosystem that includes distributed quantum computing, global networking, space-based infrastructure, and the silicon-level Root of Trust. From the first transistors of a secure microprocessor to the last photons of a globally entangled orbital network, the architecture is made to guarantee that every crucial layer is controlled and protected by SEALSQ. As of right now, no other company in the worldwide market provides a level of integration between quantum hardware, security, interconnects, sensing, and space services.

Engineering a Vertical Future for Quantum Trust

The CEO of SEALSQ, Carlos Moreira, claims that the company is actively “engineering it vertically, securely, and at scale” rather than just getting ready for the quantum age. SEALSQ seeks to make security a fundamental idea rather than an afterthought by including layers of trust, from post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and quantum-ready technology to robust satellite infrastructure. This strategy is specifically made to foresee how cybersecurity needs would change as quantum computing develops, resulting in an architecture that is reliable from “silicon to space” and future-proof.

The Quantum Highway and Sovereign Infrastructure

The SEALSQ Quantum Highway, a strategic architecture introduced in early 2026 that links all vertical stack nodes into a single, globally scalable, sovereign-by-design platform, is essential to this objective. The Quantum Highway incorporates cryptographic identification and sovereignty from the start at the hardware level, in contrast to conventional approaches that add security to already-existing systems. What started off as a prototype corridor connecting locations in Spain, France, and Switzerland has developed into an international network that now includes South Korea, India, and the US. To guard against supply-chain breaches and rogue node insertions, every node on this highway whether a quantum processor or a satellite payload is cryptographically bound to a silicon Root of Trust.

The Sovereign Root-of-Trust (SRoT) Architecture, which emphasizes four important dimensions, directs the construction of this route.

  • Silicon Sovereignty: Hardware root keys are produced in sovereign manufacturing settings in Switzerland, Spain, and India, with plans to expand to the US and South Korea.
  • Key Sovereignty: In late 2025, SEALSQ introduced the first Post-Quantum Root of Trust in the United States, enabling government organizations to handle secure identities solely within the country.
  • Lifecycle Sovereignty: The INeS PKI platform controls updates and revocations to ensure device lifecycle sovereignty from manufacturing to decommissioning under the SRoT Architecture.
  • Network Sovereignty: National operators control their physical infrastructure and cryptographic underpinnings, including the ability to quarantine or revoke node membership.

The Seven Integrated Layers of the Quantum Stack

The SEALSQ Quantum Vertical Stack is composed of three operational verticals and four foundational security layers that are connected via photonic interconnects.

  1. Silicon Root of Trust (L1): SEALSQ gives each component in the ecosystem hardware-anchored identity through the use of secure components, Trusted Platform Modules (TPMs), and RISC-V microcontrollers.
  2. Post-Quantum Cryptography (L2): In accordance with the 2030 federal migration mandate, the INeS PKI infrastructure maintains certificates that are compatible with NIST-standardized algorithms like CRYSTALS-Kyber and CRYSTALS-Dilithium.
  3. Quantum Hardware (L3): SEALSQ has obtained access to CMOS-compatible quantum computing architectures through partnerships with Quobly and investments in EeroQ, with the goal of creating the first secure-by-design quantum processors in history.
  4. SEALQuantum Photonic Interconnect (L4): A Thin Film Lithium Tantalate (TFLT) platform that can convert quantum information between microwave and optical domains a crucial link for quantum networks is intended to be introduced through the impending purchase of Miraex SA.

Operational verticals such as Global Quantum Networking, which serves as the foundation for a future quantum internet, and Distributed Quantum Computing (DQC), which employs quantum teleportation to scale qubit counts across disparate processors, complete the stack.

Space-Based Infrastructure and Strategic Milestones

The Quantum Spatial Orbital Cloud (QSOC), a projected constellation of 100 satellites created in collaboration with WISeSat, is a key element of this ecosystem.Company Space. This LEO constellation will provide managed services including post-quantum digital identity and Quantum Key Distribution (QKD). Launching on SpaceX in June 2026, the first 15 satellites are funded. After a pilot phase with the Swiss Armed Forces Space Command, sovereign space communications infrastructure was verified.

The SEALQuantum Fund has been increased to $200 million to fund these enormous technological advancements. The portfolio businesses, which include IC’ALPS, Quobly, and EeroQ, have already received more than $30 million. Notably, EeroQ and NVIDIA recently showcased the first autonomous quantum computing lab in history, where AI uses plain language cues to enhance quantum operations.

SEALSQ’s groundbreaking work in Post-Quantum Semiconductors aims to offer strong, future-proof protection for sensitive data across industries, including defense, healthcare, and industrial automation, as conventional cryptographic techniques like RSA become more susceptible to quantum advancements. SEALSQ is constructing a robust infrastructure for the quantum era by establishing confidence in hardware and scaling it through the Quantum Highway and QSOC.
