Orientom Signs Quantum MoU To Build Next-Gen Quantum AI

Quantum MoU

Orientom and Deep In Sight Join Forces to Use Quantum AI to Transform Defense

Deep In Sight, a pioneer in AI-based 3D sensing technologies, and Orientom, a quantum computing software specialist, have inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on developing a ground-breaking 3D spatial information–based quantum AI model. This agreement represents a significant milestone in the convergence of quantum and artificial intelligence (AI). With its focus on defense applications, this partnership represents a significant advancement in high-dimensional, real-time analysis for national security, finance, and other fields.

What the MoU Covers

The recently signed contract states that the two businesses will:

  • Create analytical models of the future by combining AI-powered 3D sensing with quantum algorithms.
  • Work together to develop and market machine learning techniques that are suited for contexts involving quantum computing.
  • To improve performance and interoperability, create a single platform that combines the technology of the two businesses.

Contributing its extensive knowledge in quantum platforms and algorithms, such as military-grade algorithms and quantum financial services, is Orientom’s responsibility. Meanwhile, Deep In Sight offers its state-of-the-art AI-powered 3D camera solutions “that can precisely extract complex spatial data, including object detection, biometric information, and spatial recognition.” These qualities make this a high-stakes, high-impact combination, especially when combined with real-time battlefield awareness systems and predictive modelling platforms.

Strategic Significance: Beyond the Headlines

Enhancing National Security Through Technological Synergy

“A major step towards technological self-reliance and advancement in national strategic domains through the convergence of AI and quantum technologies,” said Eunsong Oh, CEO of Deep In Sight. It is anticipated that the partnership will provide them with a competitive advantage in the market for high-precision defence systems, driven by unique AI optimisation and 3D geospatial capabilities.

The critical importance of quantum technology in defence and security was highlighted by Alfred Bang, CEO of Orientom, echoing that goal. “By working together technically, we will generate successful research outcomes and commercialisation examples, and quantum-based AI technology [will] truly mark a turning point in a number of industrial domains.”

High-Dimensional Decision-Making Applications

Though initially intended for defence, the MoU’s technologies are also used in smart cities and finance, fields where high-dimensional, real-time decision making is crucial. The model’s potential for usage in these fields highlights its wider applicability outside of militarized use cases.

Global Innovation Trends: Quantum + AI in Defense

Broader momentum is seen in the Orientom–Deep In Sight union:

  • Liggeti Computing, Norma, and Punjin, a defence AI company in South Korea, have inked a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly create hybrid AI solutions, defense-specific quantum algorithms, and quantum software.
  • In order to validate and confirm fault-tolerant quantum computers, the Department of Energy (DOE) and DARPA in the United States agreed on a framework for quantum research and development. These examples demonstrate a developing global trend: governments and corporations are incorporating AI and quantum computing into many important domains, including security and military.
