L&T-Cloudfiniti & QpiAI Partner: Improving AI & Cloud Tools

L&T-Cloudfiniti, L&T’s cloud and AI services subsidiary, partnered with Bengaluru-based deep-tech firm QpiAI on May 16, 2025. This alliance focusses on Quantum Computing as a Service (QCaaS) to scale quantum solutions across sectors and revolutionize the global quantum computing scene.

QpiAI pioneers AI and quantum computing integration for enterprise-ready solutions. QpiAI’s full-stack strategy, strategic alliances, and industry-specific applications will help spread quantum computing throughout sectors. As the company innovates and expands, it positions India as a worldwide quantum technology leader.

QpiAI: Leading the Way in Integrating AI and Quantum

QpiAI, a division of Qpi Technology, was founded in 2019 by Dr. Nagendra Nagaraja and has become a pioneer in the integration of quantum computing and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. In order to tackle difficult scientific and commercial problems, the company specializes in providing enterprise-ready solutions that integrate AI, machine learning, quantum software, algorithms, high-performance computing (HPC), and quantum hardware.

Solutions for Full-Stack Quantum Computing

Using a vertically integrated strategy, QpiAI delivers complete quantum solutions, ranging from software to hardware. The QpiAI Gen-1, their flagship quantum system, is a superconducting quantum computer with 25 qubits that can be scaled to 300 qubits. The Optimus prime quantum processing unit (QPU), Bumblebee classical cryogenic controller, and Trion universal optimizer chip are all part of the company’s hybrid quantum-classical architecture. Quantum Computing as a Service (QCaaS): Using safe, scalable cloud-based services, QpiAI’s QCaaS platform gives companies on-demand access to quantum computing resources. 14 investors, including venture capital firms and angel investors, contributed $6.5 million to QpiAI’s pre-Series A funding round in June 2024. AI, semiconductors, microelectronics, device physics, quantum hardware and control systems, quantum algorithms, machine learning, HPC, advanced software platforms, and quantum-inspired computing are among the fields in which the company employs a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
