To Ensure Ethical Governance of AGI and Quantum Systems, WISeKey and Partners Reveal the Human-AI-T Manifesto at Davos 2026
The Human-AI-T (Human – Artificial Intelligence – Trust) Manifesto was formally presented on January 19, 2026, by WISeKey International Holding Ltd (“WISeKey”), a leading worldwide player in cybersecurity, blockchain, and IoT.

The Human-AI-T framework was designed to guarantee that technological intelligence develops inside the “moral, legal, and cultural envelope” that humans have created. According to the manifesto, regardless of how quickly technology advances, human dignity, agency, and responsibility must be seen as unchangeable invariants. This project comes at a pivotal moment; the need for human-centric governance has become both “urgent and unavoidable” as AI systems achieve previously unheard-of levels of autonomy and reasoning and as quantum technologies fundamentally alter the boundaries of computational power.
The manifesto’s core point is very clear: human judgment, morals, and accountability must continue to take precedence over technology. It states that human values must be “deliberately injected” into AI algorithms, blatantly rejecting the notion that moral conduct will arise organically from data alone.

Foundational Principles for the AGI Era
The Manifesto establishes a number of fundamental principles intended to uphold monitoring in high-impact areas like security, rights, and life to protect human interests. Among these pillars of support are:
- Human Control: Ensuring that people continue to have significant decision-making authority over AI systems.
- Supportive AI: Human judgment should be aided by technology, not replaced.
- Harm Prevention: By including prevention into the technology’s design, risks to human rights, the environment, and health must be addressed.
- Equity: Enforcing nondiscrimination to ensure AI treats everyone fairly.
- Accountability: Enforcing traceability, auditability, explainability, and transparency laws.
- Data sovereignty: Protecting civil and privacy rights.
Besides these standards, the Manifesto requires extensive impact evaluations, due diligence procedures, and audits to ensure that intelligent systems do not violate democratic values or global sustainability.

The Need for Trust in Design
The emphasis on trust as the foundation of a digital society is a recurrent issue. The Human-AI-T framework includes trust as a basic design requirement rather than treating it as an afterthought. Achieving social acceptance, economic resilience, and geopolitical stability is seen to need this strategy. According to the manifesto, AI must be thoroughly vetted, secure, and completely traceable in order to be trusted, especially as AGI and quantum technologies accelerate and expand the scope of technological effect.

WISeKey’s Integrated Security Ecosystem
WISeKey’s broad range of technologies, which protect digital identity ecosystems for both individuals and things, supports the manifesto’s presentation. WISeKey is a holding corporation with headquarters in Switzerland that works through a number of specialist subsidiaries to further its goal of protecting the “Internet of Everything.”
- SEALSQ Corp: Focuses on public key infrastructure (PKI), semiconductors, and post-quantum technology.
- WISeKey SA: Focuses on PKI and Root of Trust (RoT) solutions for safe authentication in blockchain and artificial intelligence.
- WiseSat AG: Committed to safe satellite communication and space technologies for the Internet of Things.
- Wise.ART Corp: Runs a marketplace for reliable, safe blockchain NFTs.
- SEALCOIN AG: Focuses on technology related to decentralized physical infrastructure (DePIN).
WISeKey, which has over 1.6 billion microchips in use worldwide, leverages the Big Data produced by its semiconductors and AI analysis to enable predictive maintenance and avoid equipment failure. The manifesto’s demand for dependable, human-led technology is consistent with this real-world use of secure AI.

A Worldwide Appeal
A “Call to Global Responsibility” is being issued by WISeKey and its partners via the Davos platform. They are calling for the Human-AI-T Manifesto to be adopted as a common global reference framework by governments, international organizations, technology developers, academic institutions, and civil society organizations.
The manifesto concludes by reminding the world that “humanity must remain the measure of technology.” Please visit WISeKey‘s dedicated platform for integrating human values into AI if you’re interested in joining the movement or signing the manifesto.
