Rigetti at the Canaccord Genuity Virtual Quantum Symposium

High-profile participation coincides with a crucial time for Berkeley-based full-stack quantum computing leader. As the quantum sector continues to grow, Rigetti’s leadership wants to inform investors and industry professionals about the company’s scientific roadmap and commercial achievements in a rapidly evolving market.

Event Details and Investor Access

At 12:00 PM ET, the virtual roundtable discussion begins. Rigetti broadcast the event live online for investors and participants worldwide. Understanding the importance of transparency and continuous engagement, the organization will repeat the presentation for 90 days following the event. Senior leaders from the corporation attended the 21st Annual Needham Technology, Media, & Consumer Conference on May 5, 2026, following a busy month.

Technical Leadership: The Superconducting Advantage

The Rigetti’s focus presentation is expected to be its commitment to superconducting qubits, which it considers to be the greatest choice available to the industry. Because of their very high gate speeds, relative maturity, and a clear and established route toward hardware scaling, superconducting qubits are widely recognized as the premier qubit modality.

Rigetti’s current quantum computing devices are reportedly capable of achieving gate speeds between 50 and 70 nanoseconds. The business notes that these rates are over 1,000 times quicker than those attained by other quantum modalities, such as neutral-atom or trapped-ion systems, to put this performance in perspective. Rigetti’s value proposition heavily relies on this performance advantage, especially for hybrid quantum-classical applications that need quick iterations between various computing environments.

Expanding the Hardware Portfolio: From Novera to Cepheus

To service various areas of the research and enterprise communities, Rigetti offers a wide variety of hardware products as part of its business strategy. On-premises quantum computing systems ranging from 9-qubit setups to sophisticated 108-qubit systems are now sold by the business.

The 9-qubit Novera QPU is one of the most notable items in this portfolio. By enabling “plug-and-play” integration into a customer’s cryogenic and control infrastructure, this high-performance device supports research and development. For bigger projects, Rigetti offers its Cepheus systems, which range from 36 to 108 qubits. These systems provide national laboratories and quantum computing centers complete solution based on the company’s own chiplet-based technology and have integrated control electronics.

Scalability Milestones

The development of multi-chip processing is a major element of Rigetti’s 2026 story. To create scalable quantum systems that can overcome the constraints of single-chip designs, the business is credited for designing the first multi-chip quantum processor in the industry.

The Cepheus-1-108Q, which is presently acknowledged as the biggest multi-chip quantum computer in the market, was successfully installed earlier this year by Rigetti. This computer is a technical achievement, with twelve 9-qubit chiplets carefully tiled together to produce a unified 108-qubit processor. Rigetti can scale its hardware more effectively than with conventional techniques because to this “chiplet” concept.

Rigetti maintains a high level of vertical integration in contrast to many of its competitors. The firm uses Fab-1, the first dedicated and integrated quantum device production facility in the industry, to design and produce its own quantum chips. With the help of this facility, the business can oversee every phase of the production process, from design to deployment, guaranteeing excellent performance and dependability.

Additionally, Rigetti’s Rigetti Quantum Cloud Services (QCS) platform expands its reach into the digital sphere.
