Viewbix Inc. Announced that the Transformer-Based Decoder Program Hits First Milestone in Quantum Transportation

Viewbix Inc. has announced that its subsidiary, Quantum Transportation Ltd., has successfully achieved the first major milestone of its Quantum Decoder program, a key development for the field of fault-tolerant quantum computing. This accomplishment secures crucial intellectual property (IP) rights and opens the door for sophisticated quantum error correction (QEC). It represents a significant shift from theoretical research to a technically validated design.

Quantum Transportation Ltd Milestone 1 and IP Licensing

Quantum Transportation, a minority-owned company of Quantum X Labs Ltd., has achieved a multifaceted accomplishment with the completion of Milestone 1. Comprehensive QEC Model Research, a Patent Feasibility Assessment, and the Transformer Architecture Finalization were the three main pillars of the period.

Importantly, a sub-license deal with Ramot at Tel Aviv University, the university’s specialized technology transfer organization, requires the proper delivery of these components. In particular, a pending patent for a novel machine learning-based quantum error correction decoder guarantees the company’s continuous access to foundational intellectual property by reaching this milestone. The technology’s eventual commercialization is anticipated to be based on this technological and legal security.

New Development in Technology: Transformer-Based Decoding

One of the main goals of the initiative is to create a neural decoder that is universal and independent of coding. A transformer-based architecture, a kind of machine learning model, is used in this method to handle quantum error correction, in contrast to conventional techniques.

This transformer-powered approach has the potential to surpass conventional decoding techniques in a number of metrics, such as efficiency, scalability, and adaptability to different noise conditions, according to rigorous simulations carried out during Milestone 1. As generalization over many quantum codes and noise models continues to be a “core challenge” in the search for fault-tolerant quantum computing, this is a critical event for the industry.

The project is now ready for impending prototype and real-world validation after moving from early-stage research to a defensible, proven design.

Strategic Growth: Viewbix and Quantum X Labs Combination

Quantum Transportation’s advancements are consistent with the overarching business plan of its parent firm, Viewbix Inc. A definitive deal to purchase up to 100% (and at least 85%) of Quantum X Labs was signed on December 15, 2025, and the company is currently undergoing a major shift towards quantum technologies.

Subject to customary closing conditions, regulatory approvals, and stockholder agreement, this purchase is anticipated to conclude within ninety days of the execution date. It contains a growing portfolio of patents and previous intellectual property in quantum error correction. The acquisition of Quantum X Labs also adds historical experience, such as the IP in quantum computing error correction that was previously bought in January 2026 by Prof. Lior Wolf, CEO of Mentee Robotics.

Additionally, Quantum X Labs has shown a broad interest in the quantum area by recently reporting advances in Quantum Gyroscope Chip technology, which is expected to contribute to the expanding field of quantum compass direction finding.

Future Outlook: Milestone 2 and Industry Applications

As soon as Milestone 1 is completed, Quantum Transportation moves on to Milestone 2, System Proof of Concept. In this subsequent stage, there will be:

  • Extended simulations to verify the transformer-based architecture more thoroughly.
  • Examining viable implementation routes for the decoder.
  • Early discussions to advance the technology toward commercial readiness with design partners and possible collaborators.

There are many possible uses for a high-reliability, scalable quantum decoder. Transportation and security are two important high-reliability industries that Viewbix believes could profit from fault-tolerant quantum computing. The company hopes to address the stability problems that presently impede the deployment of quantum processors in practice by developing a decoder that can adjust to various noise conditions.

Corporate Context: Quantum AI and Advertising

With its subsidiaries Gix Media Ltd. and Metagramm Software Ltd., Viewbix Inc. presently pursues its primary business interests in digital advertising and AI-driven writing. Gix Media focuses on optimizing and monetizing online marketing, whereas Metagramm creates software for multilingual writing and review that corrects grammatical errors using artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Their entry into quantum error correcting is a clever extension of their current automation and machine learning skills. Although digital media and linguistics make up the company’s present revenue sources, the strategic acquisition of Quantum X Labs and the advancement of the Quantum Decoder program point to a long-term commitment to becoming a leader in cutting-edge quantum technology.

Implications and Risks for the Market

After the announcement, Viewbix’s shares (Nasdaq: VBIX) moved upward, most recently trading at $2.02, up 6.88%. Nonetheless, the business continues to be open about the risks. According to Viewbix’s forward-looking statements, a number of risks and uncertainties could result in actual results that materially deviate from current expectations, including the possible commercialization of the technology, the completion of the acquisition of Quantum X Labs, and the acquisition of regulatory approvals.

As of January 2026, Quantum Transportation is moving forward into the proof-of-concept stage of what may be a game-changing component of the quantum computing puzzle, while the business is still working toward its 90-day closing window for the acquisition.
