Unmissable Sessions Bridging Theory and Application
A series of educational seminars aimed at addressing some of the most important issues in the field of quantum technology will be presented at Quantum.Tech Europe 2025. These meetings will provide a link between fundamental research and useful, real-world application.
“South Carolina champions quantum talent,” one of the important seminars, will examine cutting-edge methods of teaching quantum. SC Quantum will outline programs, including quantum sales classes at the Darla Moore School of Business and the use of hands-on robotics in K–12 schools to create a workforce prepared for the future as part of its message that quantum education must begin today. This workshop will look into whether robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) can help close the current gap in quantum literacy.
In another session, “From lab to city: Building the quantum internet,” QuTech’s Ronald Hanson will reveal what quantum computer networks will look like in the future. He will talk about how developments in integrated photonics and entanglement distribution are setting the stage for a safe quantum internet that can function on a city-wide basis.
The panel “Quantum in the boardroom: Is there ROI yet?” will discuss the real-world business ramifications of quantum technology. Major company executives from Unilever, Citi, E.on, and Bosch will talk about the difficulties and methods of introducing quantum ideas to the C-suite, incorporating new technologies into current tech stacks, and above all calculating their impact and return on investment.
A session titled “Quantum in the Middle East: Qatar’s strategic leap forward” will also feature a global viewpoint. Professor Saif Al-Kuwari will discuss how Qatar is proactively creating a national quantum ecosystem that is sustainable through thorough plans, committed research projects, and solid business partnerships.
