Datavault AI Recent News: $120M for Quantum Edge Expansion

Datavault AI Secures $120 Million to Expand Its Quantum-Ready Edge Network to 100 Cities

Datavault AI Recent News

Datavault AI Inc. (NASDAQ: DVLT) has announced the completion of a binding term sheet for a $120 million financial commitment from Scilex Holding Company (NASDAQ: SCLX), a move that is expected to completely change the distributed computing and data security environment. This large investment is intended to put Datavault AI at the vanguard of the developing quantum computing age by aggressively deploying a quantum-ready edge network throughout 100 American cities.

The Financial Framework

Instead of a conventional loan or equity issue, the contract between Datavault AI and Scilex is set up as a revenue participation arrangement. Scilex will provide $120 million in cash up front as part of the agreement. In return, Datavault AI will send a portion of the total profits made by the new zero-trust, quantum-ready edge network.

The repayment plan is divided into tiers according to certain benchmarks. Scilex will initially get 30% of all gross network sales from Datavault AI until the “Interim Cap” of $250 million is reached. The participation percentage falls to 15% when this barrier is exceeded until the total contributions reach a “Additional Cap” of $1.2 billion. Scilex will continue to earn a 5% royalty on network revenues following the satisfaction of the Additional Cap. In addition to guaranteeing that Datavault AI retains complete ownership and does not dilute its current shareholders, this structure is intended to align the long-term interests of both businesses.

Revolutionising the Edge: The SanQtum Platform

Available Infrastructure’s SanQtum platform serves as the main means of this expansion. This platform is the main infrastructure stack that Datavault AI has chosen to serve advanced AI workloads and high-performance computing (HPC).

The SanQtum stack is an all-inclusive collection of technologies created for the “near-edge,” bringing processing power closer to the point of data generation. Important elements of the platform consist of:

  • Ensuring that each access request is thoroughly verified and approved is known as “zero trust networking.”
  • Data storage is shielded from potential attacks by quantum decryption capabilities through the use of quantum-resilient encryption.
  • Private Sovereign Cloud: Providing safe cloud services that are still managed by the business or government.
  • NVIDIA GPUs for AI Inference: provide the hardware required to execute sophisticated AI models at the network’s edge.

The SanQtum technology, which enables Datavault AI to be a “first mover” in the transition to quantum-ready digital environments, is a “Quantum Portal” (patent pending), according to Dan Gregory, CEO of Available Infrastructure.

A National Rollout in Multiple Phases

With the first operational locations in New York and Philadelphia, the infrastructure’s rollout is already slated to start in the second quarter of 2026. Datavault AI has set a strict schedule for the countrywide rollout:

  • 12 Months: 25 operational locations.
  • 24 Months: 50 operational locations.
  • 36 Months: Full coverage across 100 U.S. cities

The investment, according to Datavault AI CEO Nathaniel T. Bradley, is a “transformative milestone” that gives the business the money it needs to carry out its goal for a safe, nationwide GPU infrastructure. He stated that the network will meet vital demands for government and business clients, especially in areas that call for secure data processing and Real-World Asset (RWA) tokenization.

Economic Forecasts and Their Effect on the Market

This 100-city deployment has significant income potential. According to Available Infrastructure, each city could bring in between $100 million and $1 billion a year. The network is expected to generate between $10 billion and $100 billion in income annually on a nationwide level.

The network aims to expedite the “trusted tokenization, exchange, and valuation workflows” in addition to the raw financial data. Datavault AI aims to lower latency and improve the integrity of data monetization in the Web 3.0 environment by putting cybersecure edge nodes closer to users.

Corporate Experiences

AI-driven data appraisal and monetization is the main emphasis of Philadelphia-based Datavault AI (NASDAQ: DVLT). Its operations are split into two main wings: the Data Science division, which deals with high-performance computing and Web 3.0 solutions, and the Acoustic Sciences division, which oversees patented wireless audio technologies (including WiSA and ADIO).

The SanQtum platform is powered by Northern Virginia-based Available Infrastructure, an IBM Platinum Partner. With a growing fleet of tiny data centers built to serve critical models for agencies and organizations, the firm specializes in “national security-grade” cyber protection.

The last tranches of the $120 million are anticipated to close by the end of 2026, and both Datavault AI and Scilex have agreed to completing definitive agreements to complete the deal, even though the term sheet is binding.

What is Datavault AI

Based in Philadelphia, Datavault AI (NASDAQ: DVLT) is a data technology firm that specializes in using blockchain technology and artificial intelligence to monetize and value data.

In essence, the firm uses a unique “data-as-a-service” (DaaS) strategy to assist enterprises in converting their raw data into financial assets.

Essential Business Foundations

Data Science & AI: The focus was on Web 3.0 solutions, AI-driven data assessment, and HPC. This involves the “tokenization” of data, which facilitates its value or trading.

Acoustic Sciences: The corporation oversees unique wireless audio technology and spatial sound solutions through subsidiaries such as WiSA and ADIO.

Infrastructure: They implement “edge” networks using the SanQtum technology, which was created by Available Infrastructure. By bringing computing power closer to the consumer, these networks lower latency and boost security.

Current Significant Advancements

By 2026, Datavault AI will have significantly expanded its Quantum-Ready Edge Network. Important aspects of this action include:

A revenue participation agreement with Scilex Holding Company secured the $120 million investment.

The 100-City Rollout is a three-year effort to install safe, quantum-resistant infrastructure throughout the United States, beginning in Philadelphia and New York.

Quantum Security: Because the network is “quantum-ready,” it employs encryption that will be safe even if quantum computers—which are capable of cracking conventional encryption—become more potent.
